Energy isn’t unlimited, believe it or not. Finding extra energy to work out alongside working 5+ days per week isn’t easy. Social media stars will have you believe that if you’re not excited to train every day then you’re not capable or are failing, but it’s much easier to “go beast mode” when you get paid to work out!
There are a number of things you can do to try and conserve energy during the day ready for your workout later on. You can slightly increase your carbohydrate intake, drink plenty of water, get more sleep, and try not to stress about some of the smaller things in life. This is all well and good, but it’s not always enough.
“So,” I hear you ask, “what can I do?” Well, you have to think outside the box sometimes, and in this particular case you may have to increase the size of your supplement arsenal. You may not have heard of some of the following supps, but they may be the exact thing you’re looking for to revitalize your grueling workouts. Here are our top 3:
1. Deca-Max
Deca-Max is first for a couple of reasons. First, not everybody can tolerate caffeine and may feel like they have nowhere to turn for an immediate energy source. Second, it’s got a rather interesting blend of ingredients that have scientific backing.

Caffeine is undoubtedly one of the world’s most consumed ergogenic aids used to enhance physical performance. 3. Maltodextrin
Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide produced from starch (carbohydrate). As you probably know, carbs are our primary fuel source during physical activity. As a supplement, maltodextrin is easily digestible and can be utilized by the body as rapidly as glucose. This makes it a good choice as an immediate source of energy. Many athletes and bodybuilders use maltodextrin as an intra-workout (consumed during a training session) to provide the energy required to perform to the max. It usually comes as a powder ready to mix with water.
Different supplements will cause different responses depending on your tolerances. It isn’t a “one size fits all” thing, and it can take time to find out what works best for you. It’s also important to remember not to overuse some of these supplements. Overuse can be dangerous, and we should only use supplements when we really need them.
